Dahlia deconstructed

I was at a friend’s farm in the winter months when the dahlia flowers bloom everywhere in Delhi. I was running about playing with my dog and niece when I saw my dog run into pots of flowers breaking them. I ran to fix them when I saw how this majestic magenta dahlia had fallen on the lush green grass scattering its gorgeous petals everywhere in a splatter of magenta pink. That beautiful image remained and I had to capture it in the statement hand done tie dye.
